ChemCollect GmbH, offering unique reactive intermediates for application in combinatorial chemistry techniques and lead optimisation will start an online catalog in 2007, based on pgchem::tigress technology and realized with 100% Open Source components. As we are waiting for the server hardware to arrive, here is a demo system with 2006 catalog data. Please note that this is really a demo, especially the inquiry functionality is NOT working.
Not directly based on pgchem::tigress but nevertheless interesting, eMolecules Inc. searches 5 million structues with a closed source extension to PostgreSQL based on OpenBabel, while MolDB3 uses Checkmol/Matchmol and MySQL to search 100.000 structures, both of them showing the power of the matching systems available in pgchem::tigress.
